Having previously observed bison, I have witnessed the simultaneous qualities of power and vulnerability in these magnificent creatures, embodying fragility, calmness, tenderness, and peace—a raw and powerful energy. The ink drawings in the collection capture the inner turmoil of the bison, accompanied by intimate poetry that explores a conversation with myself. The journey depicted in the bison’s bold physicality, evolving into abstract mindscapes, represents a search for emptiness and a quest for spiritual awakening. Awakening signifies the courage to confront, embrace, and release the truth of one’s heart and its genuine needs.

New poetry collection In Between comprises of more than 30 poems written in English, reverse printed on delicate semi transparent paper. The soft appearance of texts expresses the emerging and disappearing essence in life. The poems draw your imagination on the imperfection and small things in nature and human. In the tango of life and death, Claire is in search of beauty and expresses compassion.
The poetry is packaged in a black box with a hole on the lid, the ‘in between’ position we are standing between light and dark in the midst of chaos of the world.
