ARTIST IN RESIDENCE : Walden in France 2026

2026 Summer : Artist-in-residence at Walden, Menerbes, France

“Excited to welcome soon Claire at Walden Village! …We are thrilled to welcome our duo of artists at Walden for this summer, Claire Lee and Violaine Laveaux. Both will explore the local flora, notably cypress trees and Indian Pipe flowers. They will share about their practices and work in progress during an open studio in July.” - Caroline Ha Thuc, independent art writer, researcher and curator.

Walden is an independent association dedicated to artistic creation, in all its states and forms. It originates in the desire to encourage exchanges and encounters between artists from Asia and artists from the Luberon, a region of France with a rich history of artistic creation.
